We couldn’t be anymore excited that Spring is finally here! We cannot wait to see our gardens flourish and our homes to be filled with beautiful blooms. We’ve popped together a few hints and tips on how to get creative with your florals. Flowers don’t just have to be placed in a standard vase, get creative with it!
This rustic looking jug is a great way to display flowers, the old look enhances the fresh beauty of the flowers. Alternatively, you could use a well painted clean looking jug, this gives more of a classy and sophisticated look which would sit well with a modern interior.
Ok… so we’ve gone back to the classic vase look, however, this has a twist. Why don’t you use a drink decanter? The unusual shape is eye-catching and unexpected. We’re also liking the thought of dividing a bouquet of flowers into several vases to create a statement.
Containment. We love the idea of placing flowers into lanterns & birdcages. This is quite inspiring for a wedding but could be equally as awesome for a dinner party. We were also thinking this would be a great alternative for a gift, instead of a standard bouquet.
Filling your home with flowers is lovely; Spring is here and Summer is fast approaching. We plan to spend lots of time soaking up the sun in our glorious gardens. Instead of filling lots of plant pots (that probably get knocked over), why not suspend flowers from a tree? You can add lights to the vases to give it more of an impact at night time (great for a BBQ).
Suspending flowers from up high is a nice idea but we also love the idea of tying them to a fence. After the winter months, your fence is probably looking a little worse for wear and finding the time to paint it just seems impossible. Adding a feminine floral touch will take away from the work that needs to be done.
All of our ideas are really simple, easy to do and can be done on a tight budget.
